September 7: COVID-19 Update

The New Homestead had a contracted employee test positive for COVID-19.  The New Homestead is taking additional measures to ensure the safety of the residents, tenants and employees.  All residents, tenants and employees will be tested as a precautionary measure and we continue to monitor residents and tenants for any signs or symptoms daily.   All employees continue to wear the proper personal protective equipment while in the facility, residents and tenants have been provided and encouraged to wear masks when employees are in the room.  We will continue to monitor closely over the next 14 days and take appropriate action as needed.  We will keep you updated on the status of our situation.  

All Resident/Family outdoor visits have been postponed until further notice.  Please contact your family and friends letting them know visits have been postponed.
